Podczas edycja 2025/2026 INTEGRART9 gościmy dwie wolontariuszki.

Od października do lutego, była z nami Aroa z Kraju Basków, która z uwagi na sprawy zawodowe, wróciła do Hiszpanii i zrezygnowała z projektu.

W lutym 2026 do naszej ekipy dołączyła Andrada z Rumunii.

Poniżej kilka słów bezpośrednio od wolontariuszy oraz informację o ich działalności w Klubie.

Hey, Andrada here!

I’m the new volunteer joining the IntegrART9 project, and honestly, I’m really excited to be part of this creative, human and slightly magical journey.

I come from the southern part of Romania, and my background is a mix of storytelling, copywriting, volunteering and personal development. I’ve always been fascinated by how people think, feel and express themselves – and especially by how art and words can help us make sense of who we are and where we’re going.

Stories are kind of my thing: the ones we tell others, but also the ones we repeat in our own minds. For me, creativity goes far beyond making something “beautiful”. It is more about creating meaning, connection and space for authenticity. I believe art can be a form of dialogue – sometimes playful, sometimes deep – and often a powerful tool for self-discovery.

Even though I usually bring a lot of energy with me, I’m equally in love with slow moments. I enjoy observing nature, painting, reading, wandering through museums or simply watching people in a park. You’ll often find me surrounded by books (usually at home, with at least one cat nearby), lost in thoughts or ideas that later turn into stories, workshops or creative experiments.

During the project, I’d love to create and facilitate workshops that blend artistic expression with personal development, such as:

• Storytelling workshops – playful and reflective writing exercises that help people explore their own stories, emotions and perspectives.
  
• Art & self-expression sessions – intuitive drawing, painting or mixed media, focused on freedom, release and curiosity.
  
• Art therapy–inspired workshops (non-clinical, creativity-focused) – using symbols, colors and metaphors to explore inner worlds.
  
• Mindfulness & guided meditation sessions, especially when combined with art or journaling.
  
• Creative DIY workshops, like painting on tote bags or clothes, where art becomes personal, wearable and full of character.
  

I’m a curious soul by nature: a traveller, an observer, a listener, and someone who truly believes that when people feel safe to express themselves, something beautiful always happens. I’m here to learn, to share, to experiment and to co-create meaningful experiences with the local community (and beyond).

Jestem nową wolontariuszką projektu IntegrART9 i szczerze mówiąc, jestem bardzo podekscytowana, że mogę być częścią tej kreatywnej i nieco magicznej podróży.

Pochodzę z południowej części Rumunii, a moje doświadczenie zawodowe to połączenie Story tellingu, copywritingu, wolontariatu i rozwoju osobistego. Zawsze fascynowało mnie to, co ludzie myślą, czują i jak wyrażają siebie – a zwłaszcza to, jak sztuka i słowa mogą pomóc nam zrozumieć, kim jesteśmy i dokąd zmierzamy.

Historie to moja pasja: te, które opowiadamy innym, ale także te, które powtarzamy w naszych własnych umysłach. Dla mnie kreatywność wykracza daleko poza tworzenie czegoś „pięknego”. Chodzi bardziej o tworzenie znaczenia, połączeń i przestrzeni dla autentyczności. Wierzę, że sztuka może być formą dialogu – czasem zabawną, czasem głęboką – i często potężnym narzędziem do samopoznania.

Mimo że zazwyczaj mam w sobie dużo energii, równie bardzo kocham slow life. Lubię obserwować naturę, malować, czytać, wędrować po muzeach lub po prostu obserwować ludzi w parku. Często można mnie spotkać otoczoną książkami (zwykle w domu, z co najmniej jednym kotem w pobliżu), pogrążoną w myślach lub pomysłach, które później zamieniają się w historie, warsztaty lub kreatywne eksperymenty.

W trakcie projektu chciałabym tworzyć i prowadzić warsztaty łączące ekspresję artystyczną z rozwojem osobistym, takie jak:

• Warsztaty opowiadania historii – zabawowe i refleksyjne ćwiczenia pisarskie, które pomagają ludziom odkrywać własne historie, emocje i perspektywy.
• Sesje artystyczne i wyrażania siebie – intuicyjne rysowanie, malowanie lub techniki mieszane, skupione na wolności, wyzwoleniu i ciekawości.
• Warsztaty inspirowane arteterapią (niekliniczne, skupione na kreatywności) – wykorzystujące symbole, kolory i metafory do odkrywania wewnętrznych światów.
• Sesje uważności i medytacji z przewodnikiem, zwłaszcza w połączeniu ze sztuką lub prowadzeniem dziennika.
• Kreatywne warsztaty DIY, takie jak malowanie na torbach lub ubraniach, gdzie sztuka staje się osobista, noszalna i pełna charakteru.

Z natury jestem ciekawską duszą: podróżniczką, obserwatorką, słuchaczką i osobą, która naprawdę wierzy, że kiedy ludzie czują się bezpiecznie, aby wyrażać siebie, zawsze dzieje się coś pięknego. Jestem tutaj, aby uczyć się, dzielić się, eksperymentować i współtworzyć znaczące doświadczenia z lokalną społecznością (i nie tylko).

Nie mogę się doczekać spotkania z Wami, wspólnego tworzenia i zobaczenia, jakie historie ożywimy.

Hello! 😊
My name is Aroa and I come from Navarra, in the north of Spain. I am currently taking part in the IntegrART project in Krakow as a volunteer, with a background in Fine Arts and Curatorial Studies and previous experience in museums and cultural projects.

Within the project, I am mainly involved in educational and community-based activities, combining my interest in art, language, and cultural exchange. I participate in different initiatives such as the Spanish Club, collaborative events at the cultural center, and a small exhibition project, all of which allow me to explore creative ways of connecting with people through participation and dialogue.

I am especially interested in how art and culture can be used as tools to bring people together, create welcoming spaces, and encourage shared learning experiences. Beyond the activities themselves, this experience is also an important moment of personal and professional reflection.

In my free time, I enjoy visiting exhibitions, spending time in nature, listening to music, and learning languages. I speak Spanish, Basque, English and French, and I am currently learning Portuguese.

This project represents an important step in my path, and I am grateful for the people I meet and the moments shared along the way.

Mam na imię Aroa i pochodzę z Nawarry na północy Hiszpanii. Obecnie uczestniczę w projekcie IntegrART w Krakowie jako wolontariuszka. Mam wykształcenie w zakresie sztuk pięknych i kuratorstwa, a także doświadczenie w muzeach i projektach kulturalnych.

W ramach projektu zajmuję się głównie działaniami edukacyjnymi i społecznymi, łącząc moje zainteresowanie sztuką, językiem i wymianą kulturową. Uczestniczę w różnych inicjatywach, takich jak Klub Hiszpański, wspólne wydarzenia w Centrum Kultury “Dworek Białoprądnicki”, realizuję mały projekt wystawienniczy – wszystkie te działania pozwalają mi odkrywać kreatywne sposoby nawiązywania kontaktu z ludźmi poprzez uczestnictwo i dialog.

Szczególnie interesuje mnie to, jak sztuka i kultura mogą być wykorzystywane jako narzędzia do łączenia ludzi, tworzenia przyjaznych przestrzeni i zachęcania do wspólnej nauki. Poza samymi działaniami, to doświadczenie jest również ważnym momentem osobistej i zawodowej refleksji.

W wolnym czasie lubię zwiedzać wystawy, spędzać czas na łonie natury, słuchać muzyki i uczyć się języków. Mówię po hiszpańsku, baskijsku, angielsku i francusku, a obecnie uczę się portugalskiego.

Ten projekt stanowi ważny krok na mojej drodze i jestem wdzięczna za ludzi, których spotykam, i chwile, które mogę z nimi dzielić w tej drodze.

Aktywności Aroy:

Spanish Club

28 October – 16 December 2025

During my time in the project, I took part in the Spanish Club by planning and facilitating conversation-based Spanish classes for the local community. The sessions were designed as open and relaxed meetings where participants could practice the language naturally while sharing experiences and cultural references.

I developed different activities adapted to the group, combining practical language use with interactive dynamics and cultural topics. The aim was to encourage confidence in speaking Spanish and to create a comfortable space where learning happened through dialogue and exchange.

These sessions became a place for connection and participation, and they represented one of the most enriching aspects of my volunteering experience.

International Board Games Event

4 December 2025

As is already a tradition within the project, this year I took part in the Board Games Event at Dworek, collaborating with Mikkel in its organization. It was a truly exciting experience, as I did not expect such a warm and enthusiastic response from the people who attended the club that day.

We prepared the tables, games, food, and drinks to create a welcoming game dynamic that helped turn a cold December afternoon into a much more cozy and friendly gathering than we had anticipated.

International Volunteering Day at the Secondary School
LO XXVII

5 December 2025

For Volunteer Day, together with the other volunteers, we prepared different activities to introduce high school students to the ESC program and to show them what we do as volunteers. It was a very fun morning, and seeing the students show genuine interest in our work was an enriching experience for all of us.

I proposed a karaoke activity featuring songs in the languages or from the countries of each volunteer, with lyrics so the students could sing along. In the end, everyone who joined in started suggesting songs they wanted to sing, and the activity naturally turned into a small concert.

Exhibition in Mydlniki

26 January – 30 January 2026

This was a small collaborative project developed by Guilherme and myself at the Mydlniki cultural club. We proposed a temporary exhibition in the club’s exhibition space, presenting works that we both created throughout the week leading up to the show.

We titled the exhibition Inspirae, an invented word that refers to a creative process guided by intuition and imagination. The works were created by combining different techniques, colors, and materials, exploring various media and supports in a free and experimental way.

The week was filled with creativity and shared moments of inspiration, which we both truly enjoyed. The exhibition is open to visitors throughout the month of February at the club.
